One of my favorite wineries in Sonoma, Gundlach Bundschu just posted a great video called “A Brief History of Merlot” and it offers a cheeky look at how Merlot has transformed over the years. Most wineries have little experience with or interest in video production. I’ve seen some interviews with winemakers, but nothing that’s really exciting, fun, or worth watching. This is a great example of how a winery can use a little creativity to boost their brand image and exposure, without being so damn boring.
This sort of video appeals on a wider scale, and is an example of how a winery can use creative online marketing to build their awareness.
